 Mail Server Update |
 |
 |
 |
To prevent the possibility of using
our servers as spam relays, POP Authentication has been removed. For
outgoing mail you should be using your ISP's SMTP server. Though,
you may use our SMTP service if you enable SMTP authentication in
your mail client. For more details, view the howto.
We have also increased our spam blocking mechanisms. If you
are made aware of any non-spam messages that were unable to get to
your inbox, please let
us know. |

Express: SMTP Authentication HowTo |
 |
To enable your mail client
to send outgoing mail through our mailserver, you
must enable SMTP authentication. You will be unable
to send a message unless you validate your username
and password with the server using this method prior
to sending. (*note: click on the images for a more detailed view.)
* To begin, open your Outlook Express E-mail client,
and click the Tools menu.

* Then, select Accounts from the
menu.

* Then choose your E-mail account, and click the
Properties button.

* Now click the Servers tab, and
select My Server Requires Authentication.

* Then to submit your changes, click OK and you
should be able to send yourself a message now for
testing purposes.
